SHOCK EMERGENCY! Alaskan Bush People’s Ami Brown Air-Lifted in Terrifying Health Scare After Sudden Chest Pain—Family Feared the Worst as She Fought for Her Life in ER
ALASKAN Bush People star Ami Brown has been whisked to hospital after being struck down with chest pain and breathing issues.
Ami, 61, was air-lifted to a major hospital in Washington and placed in a coma so her “body can rest”, according to her worried children.
The matriarch of the Bush family, who has previously fought lung cancer, was placed on a breathing tube and is believed to be suffering from pneumonia.
In 2017, Ami was given just a three per cent chance of survival after being diagnosed with stage three lung cancer.
Thankfully, after gruelling treatment, the mom-of-seven was given the all-clear the following year.
Ami’s kids, Bird and Bear, have shared the latest worrying development with their mother’s health on social media.
Standing outside in the cold, Bird became emotional as she revealed that her mom – real name Amora – was in the hospital.
Bird said: “She went to the emergency room late last night and late, late after that, they did some tests.
“They actually medevaced her to the next big, big hospital.
“She was having some trouble breathing before she went in to the Emergency Room. That’s actually why she went.
“And so after they did a bunch of tests, I was talking to mom a little bit. They took a bunch of vials of blood.
“She’s okay but she was having the issues breathing and it looks like she has pneumonia.”

Bird continued: “I’m not a doctor so I don’t know the terms and stuff and I can’t remember everything.
“She’s been getting so sick so often because there’s been a lot of sicknesses in our area and it just seems to hit mom really, really hard.”
Bird began to break down, as she admitted: “Basically, her lungs are really bad.”
She continued: “They have put her in anaesthesia so her body can rest and be working as little as possible.
“They’re going to try and keep her in that for about two days, just so her body can work as little as possible.”
‘NOT THE BEST NEWS’
Bird’s brother Bear has also updated his followers on Instagram about Ami’s condition.
“It’s not the best news ever but it could be worse,” he said.
“Basically late last night, mom started getting worse and so they put a breathing tube in and had to knock her out to do it.
“They flew her to a larger town with a better hospital and that’s where she is now.
“They are attempting to wake her up but apparently you don’t just wake people up immediately. It has to be done in stages.
“The whole thing really, really sucks. It sucks for sure. She was just over at our place and she was hanging out and spent the night.”
Bear explained that Ami had woken up with “small chest pain” but travelled back from Bear’s to her home in Washington.
He and the rest of the family urged her to go to the Emergency Room, which is how she ended up being admitted.
Ami was last on social media on Monday this week.
She had shared a photo of a mountain view and wrote: “Summer 2024.”
FAMILY TRAGEDY
Ami married her now late-husband Billy when she was a teenager and moved to Alaska.
Her family cut her off and she never reconciled with her mother Earlene before she died aged 85 in 2018.
Billy tragically died in April 2021 after suffering a seizure.
His cause of death was determined as probable cardiac arrest, congestive heart failure and coronary artery disease.
Other conditions that contributed to his death were emphysema and seizures. Tobacco use also contributed to Billy’s passing.
The U.S. Sun later revealed Billy did not write a will before he died.
In Washington court papers, Ami, requested to be the personal representative of his estate, which was approved.
However, investor Robert Maughon later filed a lawsuit against Billy’s estate and the late star’s business Alaskan Wilderness Family Productions for breach of contract on April 27, 2021, as he claimed the patriarch failed to pay him profits made from the show.
Ami was later dragged into a $500,000 lawsuit against her late husband.
