Kane Brown Cracks Joke about Taylor Swift’s Surprise Appearance in Nashville
The two took the stage to perform “Shake it Off.”
Travis Kelce and his tight end friends are hosting an epic event in Nashville. But this year’s event, which was founded in 2021, has been about much more than football.
Travis and Taylor Swift made a surprise appearance at Aldean’s in Nashville on Monday night. Then on Tuesday, the event hosted a special Tight Ends & Friends concert at the Brooklyn Bowl. For $50, fans could join in on the fun with a concert starring Jordan Davis, Chase Rice, and other country music stars to give back to the community. But concertgoers were in for a big surprise when Kane Brown took the stage to perform and brought up Taylor to sing “Shake It Off.”
In videos shared on Tik Tok, Taylor takes the stage in casual black mini dress to sing her 2014 banger and admitted that she wasn’t prepared. She didn’t have a guitar, but Chase Rice said she could borrow his.
She told the crowd, “You know the one thing tight ends have in common with Nashville musicians is we’re all friends, right? So we were up there having some drinks and we were thinking, ‘How loud could this place get?’ Theoretically, how loud could the singing be in here? So I was like, ‘I know, but I don’t have a guitar,’ and Chase Rice was like, ‘You can use mine!’ We would like to dedicate this to our favorite players who are going to play, and these are the tight ends.'”

Kane Brown laughed about the surprise appearance as he shared a photo posing alongside Taylor and Travis. He wrote, “When you think you’re the special guest BUT you’re not 😂”
We know his joke was all in good fun. After all, Nashville musicians are all friends!
