Another blooper sees the TV host mixing up his words before walking out of frame, and in another he addresses the live audience dropping an expletive. An audience member asks, “Do you ever finish a particular episode and at the end, you realize, boy, this contestant don’t know s— ?”

Jennings then jokes back, “I do remember I lost to this lovely woman from Ventura named Nancy Zerg. Who knew Final Jeopardy! when I did not. And you know what she thought? She was like ‘That guy don’t know s—!’.”

Ken has been hosting Jeopardy! since 2021, following the death of Alex Trebek. He initially co-hosted with actress Mayim Bialik and became the sole host in 2023. The 51-year-old is a former competitor and champion on the ABC trivia game show in 2004. According to the Leaderboard of Legends, he is ranked number one with the most consecutive games won with 74 and has the highest winnings (regular-season play) with $2,520,700.

In a recent interview, he mentioned the one thing he learned since his hosting duties, and he said that it’s difficult to determine which contestants will perform well under the lights, cameras, and with the audience watching.

He explained, “People who were great on a written test get overwhelmed in that [environment] because it is overwhelming. Jeopardy! moves so fast.”

He also went on to also share the importance of facts and fact-checking in today’s society with the rise of AI. Ken stated, “Jeopardy! in particular, is a place where, every night, for half an hour, facts matter.”
