Todd Chrisley has caused a stir by suggesting that his mother, Nanny Faye, could be on the ‘Golden Bachelorette’. What does this really mean? Is it a set-up for an unlikely love quest, or just a prank?

It’s been almost a year to date since the premiere season of The Golden Bachelorette aired. Even though there hasn’t been an official renewal yet, fans are hoping that there’s going to be a Season 2. Which means, it’s time to try and figure out who the next leading lady will be. Several contestants from the first season are currently competing in Bachelor in Paradise Season 10. This only leaves a handful of alums as possible picks, but there’s always room for a new beginning.
After all, not every lead in a Bachelor/Bachelorette season has been a previous competitor. This leaves the casting pool for Golden Bachelorette Season 2 wide open. To kick things off, Todd Chrisley has started the conversation with his first pick. And it’s none other than his mother, Nanny Faye.
Nanny was a recent guest on the Chrisley Confessions 2.0 podcast. It was during the segment that Todd became adamant that his mother get back out into the dating scene. Even if that means becoming the star of a dating TV show.
“Mom, I’m going to put you on a dating site. We’re gonna pimp you out. Listen, you could be the Golden Bachelorette, and then you’d have, like, 12 men [to choose from,” he suggested in the August 6 episode.
Nanny wasted absolutely no time rejecting his idea, and made it clear that she’s not an avid Golden Bachelorette fan.
